Who we are

Rate Automation Inc. ("Rate Automation", "we") is an Edmonton, Alberta company. This policy covers information collected through rateautomation.ca. Customer engagements are governed by their own written agreements, which take precedence for customer data.

What we collect

Request forms. When you submit the contact or campaign form we collect what you type: your name, work email, business name and type, optional phone and website, your description of the work, and preferred timing. We ask you NOT to submit passwords, API keys, invoice files, customer records, or other sensitive information, and we do not need them to review a request.
Basic technical records. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard operational logs (such as request timestamps and status codes) used for security and reliability. This website does not use third-party advertising trackers or social-media pixels.

How we use it

Form submissions are used to review your request and respond — nothing else. Notifications are delivered to the founders directly. We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Where it lives

This website runs on Cloudflare infrastructure, and submissions are stored in our systems there. Cloudflare operates a global network, so data may be processed outside Canada. If you have residency requirements for a potential engagement, raise them at the fit call — data handling for customer engagements is scoped in writing per engagement.

How long we keep it

Request records are kept while we evaluate and follow up on the request, and then as ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete a request record at any time (see below) and we will, unless a legal obligation requires keeping it.

Your choices

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us through the contact page. We respond to privacy requests personally. Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and Canada's federal privacy law provide additional rights; the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta oversees provincial complaints.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted plainly on this page.
